this number left a recorded message that they were from the us treasury and i need to call immediate about a case. not sure if they leave a message an if they do don't they leave a toll free number and they did not give a name who they were or the name of the person that they were trying to reach . not sure if it is real but the called ID stated it was a wireless caller.not sure if I should call it.
I've been receiving a call from this number (Washington) as well as a slew of calls from a "private" caller (no number provided). All last week. This particular call from 206-801-1877 involves them leaving part of a voice message saying something about a second attempt to reach me and that I will have to appear before a magistrate or federal grand jury having to do with, or to avoid, a criminal offense. Clearly some kind of scam. In addition to this caller engaging in criminal activity, this is just plain ole annoying as hell.
