Just got a call at work from someone with an indian accident claiming to be "officer white" representing a cashloan company. I told him I never did business with that company and he said that I was lying. I told him to send me something in the mail and I would then speak to my attorney.
same message, different phone number, 206-259-6672, reported elsewhere as same kind of scam. one person kept calling HIM back, over and over, til this con artist begged him to stop calling!
In an obvious automated message said he was "Mr. Taylor from the Internal Revenue Service crimes. Please call us before the claim is submitted to federal court and/or I gots arrested" That's right [***] said "gots".
1) Funny you never said my name.
2) The IRS isn't gonna call in a computer voice. Furthermore, the actual IRS doesn't give courtesy calls!!!!
STOP
