I got a call from this number. I did not pick up, as I did not know the number. They left me a message that it was absolutely urgent that I call them back. I did not bother, as it seemed like a crank call. I then checked the number and saw all of your comments. I will NOT be calling back!!!
Received a message stating that the IRS is filing a case against me. I called the number back and a man with an indian accent answers and tells me that he knows I file my taxes on time but there seems to be a discrepancy and we need to figure out whether it was intentional or not. He then proceeds to give me a case number. As he is doing so I googled the number and came upon this website so I hung up.
M D rec'd call saying we figured our IRS returns wrong and we owe thousands of dollars. Not fooled for one moment! Very upsetting that they think we will roll over and play dead and pay! Americans are smarter than we get credit for!
