Just got a call from the "IRS". Area code is State of Washington not D.C. This caller is even more pathetic than all the others. I cannot believe that people fall for this. I know they prey on seniors, people who may be new citizens and English is not their primary language and those people who have emotional problems. There should be educators who can advise people about the new world of scammers who can go to senior centers and places of worship etc. Because of technology, the do not call list is not working.
Received several calls and messages from this number re: the IRS suing me. Call the number back and some foreigner answered so I hung up after telling him to stop calling my house!

IRS called - fake of course. Said to call this number due to a law suit. These people should be prosecuted and forced to listen to ringing phones all day long...
