Got a call from an Officer Luca Martin who had way too much information about me in his voicemail and said that my ss# was in jeopardy and that he was going to send a squad car to my house. The english was rough.
05/21/2010 - Received a message on my phone at work from an Officer Matthew Rodgers. He also called my home, and my son answered the phone. Officer Rodgers asked him if he was my husband and my son said no. He then gave my son a number to call. He said he was a Financial Crimes Investigator. He said if I didn't call him back he would have the police take me off to jail. He said my account last 4 digits were 6522. That is part of my Social Security Number. He also said my ssn# was in jeopardy. He never told me what this was about but more or less threatened me here at work. I wasn't told the company name or anything like this.
These people have called me also today, had all our info, ssn, street address, etc. Through the thick middle eastern accent, which he said his name was Officer Jeff Williams....yeah right....I even asked for a badge # which he could not give to me. These people can get serious jail time for impersonating an officer of the law. I advised him to speak with my attorney, he got upset and hung up on me. I tried calling back and they told me to never call there again. I checked with my bank and they said there was NO PAY DAY LOAN of any kind deposited into my account. THIS IS ALL A SCAM!!!!!!
got the 5th call from "Officer" Jeff Williams, its an urgent matter and a law suit is pending against my name. I have reported this and it is still continuing. A prepaid loan was never deposited in my account and this scam is so tiring.
Fake a** Officer Matthew Rogers called my job beginning on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, using this same threatening tactic to scare me into paying them (US Fast Cash International) $8,500, but they would settle for $900 but I had to pay by 3PM that day!
When I called the actual (real) company I have my payday loan out with they told me not to send the Indian speaking people anything. He said that the loan company had been receiving a lot of phone calls from people reporting the Indians calling them as well and that it was a SCAM!
