I also got this email through the AMTA search.  Luckily I came here too!  Just didn't feel right!  Guess that is why, as massage therapists, we use our intuition.  Hope somebody gets this creeper!

Got the message too and have no intention, obviously, of returning the call.

I received an email just as all of you have stated - asking for medical assistance, with that phone number provided. Thank you for taking the time to report your experience so we can all compare notes and prevent making contact with someone trying to scam us.

Got the same email through AMTA locator service. I could tell there was something wrong with it. It listed tje same name eddy mac and same tel number and email address. AMTA needs to investigate this.

I also received the same emails as above with the two names mentioned.  I will contact the AMTA and mention again that they try to block this person.  I thought it was weird and did respond to the first email, heard nothing back.  When the second one came, I realized it wasn't legit and saw that the same phone # was used both times.  Also weird that I am Northern MA and the number is from Seattle area, ( although could be a cell) so here I am.  Hope no one falls for any type of scams.  Just be careful out there, and trust your gut!
