got a message I was receiving 7000 and that they needed my information...this phone number is a scam and i hope no one is stupid enough to take this as real

All incoming phone calls saying you are getting a grant are 100% scams.
The government NEVER calls anyone to solicit grants.
The ONLY way to get a grant from the government is to use their portal. http://www.grants.gov
If you have applied for and are approved for a grant, you NEVER have to pay ANY fee for the grant funds.
2 times have gotten calls from "Indian" voice, unable and hard for me to understand English. First call was a female and when questioned on her identity, she said fuxx you and hung up. Today a male who was hard to understand as well call to tell me name and phone number was selected for a government grant (I don't have to repay!!). Gave me a code and the 206-866-5705 phone number to talk to a supervisor. Won't be making that call.
Received a call telling me I am to get a $7,000 grant. I suspected the call immediately so after receiving a confirmation code and the 206 number to call, I went online to check it out. I found out that it is a scam.
I am very grateful that people reported the scam online. Will these bad people please stop being bad. I'm getting tired of all the phony calls.
