This number just called me 3 times today saying i would be facing jail time etc i I didn't pay. he said he was from the IRS. the man i spoke to was Asian and gave me a fake badge ID#:ROM7867 his :name" was Officer Daniel Matthew (yeah ok) I supposedly have a warrant out too! Dont fall for this. they are very good at making you think you are a criminal. THE IRS WILL NOT do this to you EVER. you will get written notice..
Recd several voicemails from this # and others with 206 area code. Called back from a different phone. Spoke to a man with a heavy Indian accent. He said he was from the IRS. When I asked for him to prove it, he hung up on me.
