Recording claiming to be IRS conducting an investigation...gives some number really fast claiming that you must call it back but there is no repeat of message.
Same as above message, recorded message claiming to be I.R.S. saying there's tax fraud against you and to call back right away. I smell a scam. The I.R.S. isn't going to call you they mail any correspondence to you.
Received a call from this number claiming the IRS is issuing an arrest warrant because of back due taxes from 2012. Couldn't give me any info, and seemed to be reading from a script
I received a message yesterday and answered a call from this number today. Same as above, claimed she worked for the US Treasury and were investigating taxes (and interest) owed from 2012 - 2015 to the IRS. She spoke with a heavy Indian accent (India, Bangladesh) and was very adamant that she was there to help and warned of an arrest warrant being issued to me, once I hung up the phone. I told her that her story did not seem legitimate and that I would contact the IRS directly, and report the phone number and her claims to them. I asked her to send the info by mail to me. She did not like that!
