I work for IRS. They will not call for this type of issue. They will send mail. Do not reply to these people. BTW, I have received 3 calls from them myself today. 2 on cell, one at home. I too would like them and their buddies shut down.

Have received 3 calls from this number in past two days; twice the message cut off, but the third time it was clear this was another IRS scam. I seem to be getting many more of these in the past month than ever before, from several different numbers. This one has been the most persistent.
Blocked them as well. Got 2 calls today. First one said it was the final attempt to contact me before the IRS took action. Second one just said to call them immediately about my case file. They've also manipulated their caller ID to look like a non-standard phone number
Got called today. African or Island accent on the other end. Stating this was the IRS. When I questioned him he told me to F OFF and have fun being sued. Very believable.
