This is a scam I just called and reported my call. If anyone calls you and tells you to buy a green dot money pak and you will receive money after doing so it is a scam. Go to www.ftc.gov on the right hand side is a blue box SCAM ALERTS you will find all the scams.
Ya know the one thing I will never understand is how anyone over the age of 15 would not see that this is a scam these people are running. Why would you bother to go and get a prepaid card or go to Western Union and wire money to someone? Jesus! Has America become that STUPID? That's why these scammers in Nigeria and other God-forsaken countries get away with this crap! WHEN was the last time you heard that the USA GIVES money away? I mean, REALLY? People trying to scam others really spikes my blood pressure but knowing there are enough idiots out there willing to fall for this out of sheer stupidity or unmitigated greed, really makes me sad...get off your damn painkillers, your beer or whiskey, stop watching Maury and ANY reality TV shows, watch CNN, then you would already know about this stuff, get out and exercise, eat right, stay away from fast food which is poison (and please don't give me that bs that you can't afford good food, buy a head of lettuce, some tuna fish in cans, tomatoes, cucumbers and eat that. Everything your body needs comes from the ground) you will feel much better, your brain will function properly so that when these evil pigs call you you'll know how to deal with them.
Too funny, so I received a call that I would be getting $8,000 from the Federal Resevere Bank of NY who will call me back from this number 206-905-9357 Steven Hagar x 8821. 200 Independance Ave. SW Washington DC 20201 is what they say is their address. Do they really think anyone will fall for this. They are definitely in another country as there was a long pause after any of my answers until they responded. Please do not take their calls as they come up as Unavailable 6-3660 on the caller ID. I really hope others that get their calls do not fall for this scam.

I got a call from this number (206-905-9357) caller claimed he was calling from the United States Government Grant Department at Washington DC. He claimed I was randomly selected for a grant by the department.
I wish to know if this number is actually from any of the United States Government office in Washington DC.
My boyfriend just got a call from this number also we r in illinois and was told if he wud wire them 800$ they wd grant him 8000$ i know its a scam n he.i telling me he is going to do it i cant believe so called companies (i know its a scam) is gettin away with this hurting people n taking the only money they have and i know have done it to people unaware r being scammed!!!!! Im pissed!!!!!
