Just received recording saying same thing. I called back & was challenging this foreigner on the phone. Told him I doubt IRS is making calls like this. He hung up on me. Blocked number
Was a recorded electronic message stating it was the IRS and they going to sue me and for me to call back asap. I did not call back. Caller ID said Seattle WA. I am in CA but found SCAM info in other states. Don't call back!
Callers are hard core Indian or Pakistani scammer/extortionists. They pay no attention to the DNC list and ignore all US laws. Invest in a call blocker.
