Yep, this is Amazon delivery. I wasn't expecting them to come on a Sunday, so I ignored the knocking at my door while I was doing some work on my computer. Then I got a phone call from Seattle and thought--this couldn't be a coincidence--did a quick Internet search and found out it's Amazon, so I caught the guy as he was writing a note on my door that he was leaving a package!
Some cities have an option for 1 to 2 hour delivery. It is called Amazon Prime Now. It is included in Prime membership, but it is delivered by a courier. There is a recommended tip given at checkout, because these people pay their own gas and use their own cars while not making more than your average job. It is basically a service available to certain Amazon customers. Usually it means you have a distribution center in your area.
