Any random caller with a foreign accent claiming to be with the IRS, tech support, or anything involving finances or computers is almost always a trick. You get any cold calls with an Indian on the line, hang up at once, unless you have initiated contact.
I got a call today from Seattle Washington. I live in Southern California so I thought it was odd. I ignored the call and they left a voice mail saying that I was being sued by the IRS. It sounded shadey/fake so I ignored it and decided to google search & sure enough...SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Anything involving the IRS would require a letter not a robo call.
