They called me and left a message to call that # back. They said they had $1000 for me. I want to know why everyone else was offered $9200 & they only offered me $1000. I'm insulted! LOL
They called me and told me that I was chosen by the government to receive $9,200. They knew all of my information and gave me an ID number to call this number with 206-946-8173 and said they would give me the instructions on how to puck up my money at Western Union. I did not call the number.
Just received the same type of call from someone whom I could barely understand......gave me an id # with the same phone # to call back...didn't call the number but immediately started to research .... If it sounds to good to be true--- it usually a scam! Beware!!!
I was told that the US Fed Gov't was calling me (from a private number) to give me a grant of $9,200 because of me paying my bills on time & not having a bankruptcy. They gave me a code & this ph# to call. I knew it was a scam. I called the ph# & called their bluff. I told them that I had a bankruptcy years ago & was actually behind on several bills because I had lost my job, so I don't believe what I'm being told. I said it sounds like a scam & maybe I should call the police department. She told me that I should hang up if I believe it's a scam. I told her I'd be reporting it & hung up.
