Scary scam!! Called and said there is a lawsuit against me and I owe $2,985.00 to the IRS. That my deadline was today and if I didn't take care of this the fines could be as much as $10,000.-15,000. I'm paraphasing because his English was very hard to understand. It fell apart when I asked to have the letters sent to me again. Surely there is paper work on this?! He said they would send them again. I asked what address they were sending to and he said that's in another file, he didn't have it just the call was transfered to him and he was a Supervisor.
SCAM, They called saying they are the IRS and they and want all my personal information to complete a possible tax refund. I called the number back and asked who they were and he said they are the International Revenue Service.
I work for the Government and our IT contractor received a call from the same number listed here. The man said he was an IRs agent, Jack Gates and tried to coerce personal information. I reported this to the local IRS agency, this is ridiculous!! If they have a warrant - they already know your info and they will come to your house or work!

Didn't answer, but a man left a voice mail saying he was with the IRS, officer Paul Thompson. (Indian accent) Stated I was primary suspect in a tax deficiency and I need to respond asap and not disregard the message before the situation unfolds on ME. Get real....quit trying to SCAM honest hard working Americans!!!
TOTAL SCAM- Called twice this week on my cell phone once from 206-708-2849 and now from 206-962-3745. Same guy leaving the message stating he was Officer Alex Foster with and indian accent from the IRS needing me to call this number in Washington DC. Getting fed up with these people calling all the time!!!!!!!
