Yep... Mine this morning was 'Officer Jake Dawson' gave employee number 44382 and with Tax Audit Dept. When asked why Jake and the IRS has not contacted me by mail, Officer Jake stated "I don't know"... Then he threatened to send the cops over to my house. I graciously accepted the offer and Office Jake hung up on me.

I just received a call from this number...They told me it was the IRS. I could barely understand what he was saying...he spoke very little English. It sounded like a boiler room with other people talking. I asked if he can give the phone to someone who spoke English and he said I would have to call him back...which I didn't.
Same experience as others reported. Said he was "Officer Ben Davis" from the IRS and left a threatening message about what would happen if I didn't call back. I looked this up and it's a scam ... the IRS has posted messages about this on their website and said they NEVER ask for money, debit card payments, or credit card payments.
