"Call is to let you know that we have received a legal petition notice(?) against you concerning a tax eBay [...] so before we file a case against you in the court house and before you get arrested. Kindly call us back on of a call back number the number to reach me that is 206-973-7539. I repeat it's 206-973-7539. Don't disregard this message do return the call. Again this is officer Melvin patrick(?) from the internal revenue service. Thank you and have a blessed day."
Caller ID from a cell phone and "have a blessed day?" What a moron.
The IRS will NEVER handle business in this manner. You will receive notice by 1st class mail then registered mail and finally an IRS verified 800 call. THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT CALL THEM BACK IF THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE. Have a blessed day :)
