I got a call from 9876543211104 ( i knew something was wrong with number) l listened to the pitch from some rough speaking guy, said that i was the winner of a grant for 7000.00 that i never had to repay and that I could use it for anything such as home repairs or pay of my bills or go back to school. He told me all I had to do was call 206 979 7948 and give them the code EK424 and that the "specialist" would help me get the money.... Then he started with I need to verify some facts as my address, phone, and spelling of my name... Then told me to hurry and call that number... asked him what the cost was for this service ( knowing that there had to be a catch) replied that there was no cost... which I knew that had to be a crock as no one does this for free... needless to say... I did not call the second number, Googled the number and found many people have fallen for this scam... hope by posting my story saves someone else becoming another victim of this scam.
