Yeah I got the same response. Whenever I respond to craigslist I use a disposable email account, and I clearly say in the email to respond to a specific question or I will believe they are a spammer. Stan failed the test.

Not trying to waste your time and mine, but I have three stipulations for anyone interested in renting from me:
1. NO criminal background history
2. NO bad rental history - meaning you broke the lease and stopped paying. (missing payments is alright, thats why there are late fee's, etc.)
3. Leave things in as good or in better condition than when you moved in.
Now, as stated in the ad, I will need you to go to this link: http://creditapplicationform.info/credit_check.php and fill out the credit report. If your rental history checks out ok, then I will give you the address and lockbox combination so you can checkout the place.

So glad I googled this number. Going though the same thing. The area code made me question and he did not give me enough info to the questions I asked to want to give him my info. This is January 2013 and he was tryin to rent an apartment in Huntsville Alabama so as to why I was questioning the Washington area code. Also he was advertising one beautiful apartment but had two of his four photos were kitchens that looked totally different. I was confused by this. Not trusting this guy And not responding back except maybe to tell him I think he's a fraud.

I got the same message last night! Also in Huntsville, AL smh
