have called twice in the vening in the last week left no message first time i answered second time and no one responded when i tried to call the number back it was busy at first and then later it just rang and rang very annoying im supposed to have a private number
Asked for Mr or Mrs ... by name, identified themselves as King County Police Union asking for a donation for the "My ID Club" program they issue photograph/fingerprint safety ID cards, FREE of charge, to children under 16 years of age when accompanied by a parent or guardian. They also provide 911 coloring and activity books, 911 refrigerator magnets, 911 stickers & decals, carrying bags and our child safety manuals.

The National Do Not Call Registry does not limit calls by political organizations, charities, or telephone surveyors.
The National Call Registry may permit these calls, but why would SSI think that someone who has registered for DO NOT CALL status would want to be called by them? The caller sounded shady and could not provide a street address for the "organization". If they are legit, they should know there are more reputible ways to publicize and raise money and awareness. I'll donate elsewhere.
