We have had the 207 area code blocked for over one year.  
No matter what number they call from; if they call from the 207 area code - THEY ARE BLOCKED!
Folks, you must purchase a call blocking phone or device to prevent these harassing telemarketer calls!
We have a Panasonic call blocking phone (blocks 250 numbers) and the digi tone call blocker that can block area codes.  If the call comes from a local area code, we block using the Panasonic phone.  If the call comes from out of our local (S CA) area, we simply input the area code into the digi tone call blocker.  No more worries
In either case, our phones do not ring and our home is not disturbed - WONDERFUL!!!
