This seemed to work for my company as well. Took a couple of calls to get through, but I finally spoke to a person and they said they would take care of it.
This appears to be a fax number and has dialed my cell phone 14 times this morning (in about an hour or so) and leaves fax beeping messages for about 40 seconds each time. So irritating.
This number keeps calling me back to back as well as a blocked caller in between and it's always the same incessant beeping ! Even leaves the annoying beeping in voice mails! Has had my cell unavailable to normal calls due to it!
Call 1-800-981-5084. Let call go on through to the operator. Tell her you want to speak to someone who can remove your telephone number from their office call-out system. Tell her that her company is disturbing your privacy and that you'd prefer to handle it with her company rather than notify the Federal
Communications Commission. I was connected right away to a "customer specialist" who assured me my number would be removed. If you don't see another post from Verdery, it worked. I'll be back in touch with the next action I took if this doesn't work. By the way, the calls are coming from Athena Health, specifically the Belfast, Maine office. And someone is right; it is not a direct number, but I'm not sure it;s a fax number because you'd hear that awful squealing sound if it was.
