Since I will be eligible for Medicare in 2014 I have been getting calls like this regarding supplemental Medicare plans. Caller is possibly an independent contractor who directs prospective Medicare recipients to insurance brokers. I told caller that I am on the DNC list. Caller apologized (which could be an admission of knowingly violating the DNC) and continued with his pitch. Call came from Scarborough, Maine.
