They think they are so slick......I am pissed after the 10th call this week from them I had enough, working in the judicial system I decided to file a suit, if for nothing else to have these “low lifes” stopped.
A bit of research and playing along like I wanted to do business with these people uncovered this.
1. This company has hired scum bag telemarketers or do this in house, not sure.
2. They are a total scam, claiming they rep GMC, Ford, BMW
3. Soon as they have a clue you are on to them they hang up on you.
My last Call with them I spoke to some one who stated her name was stephanie a agent who needed to take my information and transfer me to a warranty specialist.
Warranty Specialist “Jeff” started to repeat all the information they I had given to “stephanie”
and goes on to say that because my vehicle was just at 70,000 miles (2003 GMC Denali) he had to get approval from the “Program Director”
The “Program Director “Whitney” proceeds to ask me how well I take care of my car, how often I change the oil, past changes I may have made to the truck. Then approves my warranty.
I am then transferred back to “jeff” who proceeds to attempt to “sell me” I go on to let him know I am interested in a warranty (lol) but want to be sure his company is legit, I ask for their website and am given http://www.myprogressivewarranty.com/ I now tell him I know about the 5 different phone numbers his co uses to harass people and that I have been harassed with 10 calls this week. I ask why does your co. have blocks so that they cant be called back, the #s are useless, “jeff” hangs up on me when he comes to the fact that I am not one of this company’s usual prey.
(Note) they transfer you around to people with “titles” in the hope that you will be tricked into the assumption that this company is big and legit. Total farce.
