just called rang twice and hung up. just phone number and maine on cell phone caller ID

Same as others have reported --- 1-2 rings and a hang-up.
Call it back --- long time to connect, 3 rings, and silence

Report to the DoNotCall web site anyway even though it seems nothing is being done. Better yet, complain to FTC & FCC - online forms available. Most likely a scammer & they will continue to call using other spoofed numbers. This is another scam attempt.  Report it to the FCC.  I am also on the DNC list and have been for years.  I hope these [***] get caught and sent to jail.
