It's a credit card company with a recording saying that there is no emergency but it's urgent if I would like to lower my monthly interest rates. It gives the option to press two if you would like to be removed. I have done that at least 5 times. It also gives the option to press one to speak with someone. I have done that numerous times also. Each time I ask them to remove me from their list. Today when i pressed one and asked how to successfully get my number removed she hung up without a word. The numer is not valid to return a call to. What can I do to stop these annoying calls?

When I asked which of my cards she was calling about she said none of them but that their company has contracts with all the major credit card banks. In order to get the "deal" you have to be $4,000 in debt and have an interest rate of 10% or more.
It sounds very suspicious. I hung up.
