They're back. Same questions about whether I was going to vote in November. This time I answered yes to see what other questions they had. They asked if I was going to vote for a particular Democrat candidate. When I answered "undecided" Ms Computer said thank you and disconnected the call. Seems like the usual biased survey. Interesting that the call shows Mars Hill Maine. That town might be considered the boondocks. Seems an odd place to have a call center for a political survey.
Unfortunately this one made it through the call blocker and to the answering machine. It's a political survey and unlike most of the numerous crap calls I get, the call actually left a message. I've been swamped with all sorts of erection- oops election-related garbage calls lately but most don't leave a message. Another number for the blocked list...
This was Ms. Computer. She was performing a robo opinion survey. She didn't identify who was calling or who there were doing the survey for. Anyhoo, the first question was whether I was going to vote in November. "Press 1 for yes, press 2 for no, press 3 for undecided". Being a person who always follows directions, I pressed 8. For some reason Ms. Computer responded with "That is not a valid option - Lets' try this again". She repeated the question to which I responded with an 8. She allowed me to do that four times before she hung up. I just looked back in my records as the computer voice sounded familiar. I found that I received a similar call with the same first question on 06-21-16 from 207-922-3698 showing a caller ID of Bangor, ME. The caller ID for this call showed Mars Hill ME which is about as far North as you can go without being in Canada. Obvious spoofed caller ID information. Seems odd that they would pick the name of a town way out in the boondocks but we are talking about surveyors.
