On 12-17-08 we received a call at our house from this number. (We are in NJ.)  We have been getting calls from 3 other numbers in this area code in Maine, and are quite sure they're some kind of scammers, targeting either your credit card ("get a better rate with us") or your auto warranty (saying you can extend it with them).  When you call the number back (from your caller ID) you get a recording saying the number is no longer in service.
