Caller claims to be from Google Plus wanting me to claim my unclaimed business listing. Have gotten one call a week the past 4 weeks, 2 calls (one a day) this week. Today's call I let go to voicemail and listened to the repeating options 4 times before I deleted the message. Repeating message states that Option 1 will let me claim my listing, Option 2 will let me request no further calls, then there's a chirpy "you're almost there" and the options are repeated. I don't have a business so even if legit I wouldn't have anything to claim, but since it's not I'll continue to ignore.
Received message to call 207-447-9935 if i was a business owner who wanted to claim a valuable Google + web page. When I called the number and pressed 1 to speak to a representative, a guy named "Robert" answered. When I asked him his company name he said "Local STO" and claimed it was a Google + partnership. When I asked him to remove my name from his list, he asked for the reason and suggested "Customer wants to reduce business" and then he hung up. When I tried to call number again, I received a recording asking me to press 1 if I wanted to remove my number from their call list and there is no way to talk to a human. My sense is that it is a scam of some kind.
