The same thing happened to me. The woman asked for our CIO in the IT department and asked to be transferred. She then called back and asked for our HR department and for the main number to our agency. I told her we don't have one. She then called back a third time and I refused to answer.
We have received 7 calls in less than 5 minutes from this phone number. The man calling wants names of employees so he can send them something.
Um, no.
He refuses voicemail or Being xferred to H.R. whom is the only group allowed to give that information anyhow.
He calls back over and over and is no being verbally abusive and down right nasty.
The only thing via the net is this number belongs to a company in the Phillippines.
Another reason to be leery of this number.
Got the same call at our business in MI, very demanding and rude, they asked for the CEO of our company or HR.. Their call was transferred to HR, they did not leave a message however there was back ground noise of shuffling papers then someone hanging up.
