irritating rewards redemption certificate call

I received a call from this number which I missed. I called it back and it said that it was for a rewards rebate. He then proceeded to ask me for my name, year of birth, and address. When I asked him why he needed that info and how I got on the list to receive the $100.00 rebate he disconnected the call. Seems very fishy to me.

Same thing - missed call, called back, person was pushing some kind of rewards redemption.  Told them not interested and hung up
