A recorded telephone call states in an urgent voice that my auto warranty has expired and this is my last chance to renew it. Then states press 1 to speak with a live representative.
I strung the guy along with phony information about my car, hoping to get some contact information. After agreeing to purchase a warranty extension to 100,000 miles, the agent transferred me to the money man who asked me for my credit card info. I told him that I didn't have a credit card, that I would have to send them a check. He then wanted my banking info so he could tap my checking account through an EFT. At that point I asked him how they new my warranty had expired. He responded that is was on their computer data base. I told him that I didn't believe him and he hung up promptly.
The only information I have is the caller ID phone number which came up as 207-464-8707.
When I call this number a recording states that the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. I did a reverse phone look up for the number, but was only able to glean the following:

These criminal scammers need to be shut down and prosecuted.
