what are peoples issues that they do this crap..... a holes

They hung up right after I picked up the call.

I also received a phone call from this number.  I answered and the caller disconnected----another Spam call or person who has nothing better do to with their time.  
I would suggest investing in  one of the new phones with custom blocking features, or purchase  a software application which  interfaces with your land line and only permits calls you specify to be answered.

Telemarketer, or otherwise unwanted caller.

Caller hung up as soon as we picked up the line.....third call in the same week
