Hi, I work for Carnival Cruise Line as a customer service rep. Please be warned. These calls are not coming from our cruise line or any other that I am aware. It is not the practice of any cruise line to telemarket it's Guests. A few months ago I received several calls from people trying to confirm their cruises they purchased over the phone from such calls. Needless to say there were no such cruises purchased. Please get as much information as you can and report them to your state consumer services bureau. I can assure you Carnival Cruise Line has already started an investigation into this matter.
This hit my cel at 4:30pm today. Had the same call yesterday on my home number, but their number was different. I'm on the Canadian DNC list, so this shouldn't be happening.
I noted yesterday that they likely begin operating on a new number as soon as they're shut down on the last. Just like yesterday, the thread for the number was VERY new - I see the 1st posting here was just a couple of hours ago. Yes, you can report the number to DNC, but it seems that more drastic action may be required. We've clearly all heard the stupid foghorn for years now, and clearly this is the same company.
Just called my cell at 4:20pm, i didnt answer and they didn't leave a message. Guess it wasn't important, so they are now added to my call block list using the Mr. Call Block amp for blackberry.... BITACHES!
