This number has called me everyday, multiple times a day. I answered several times and they said they were a company that helps you find a college that's right for you. I told them I wasn't interested but they set a time to call me again in a year. I've told them to take my number off their call list but they never do. Anyone have any tips on how to block the number on my cell phone?
Some woman looking for my son. I believe it is some school/college call. I was NOT thrilled to receive calls on Memorial Day - WE believe in our military and in honoring them. When the non-English as a first language speaker dared to call me "Mom" I went off on her. That right is reserved for my children - not a stranger who calls my home multiple times durning the day and does not leave a message. Also, when I asked numerous times who or what company she represented she would not tell me.
They call me at least 6 times a day, usually between 3am and 10am. I tried pressing 1 for "do not call" but they keep on a callin'. Today, Memorial Day, they called me at 318AM, 435AM, 511AM, 559AM, 704AM, and 1052AM. BTW I can't turn my phone off because I'm ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY and on call. Ironic because it's Memorial day they choose to harass me the worst.
Anyway I called AT&T and you can turn on this thing called "SmartLimit" and then just theoretically log on and block any number you want. If it makes anyone feel better I'm taking the phone call record and filing charges for harassment. I probably won't get far seeing as I don't even know what company is calling me but it's worth a try.
I have an ipod touch with no phone call capabilities, just a simple texting program. I get calls all hours of the day waking me up. I called the number from a landline, but all they say is "to put us on your do not call list, please press 1". I can't do that with my ipod. any tips?
Is it possible to:
1. block the number?
2. assign the number a "no-ring" ringtone so it's not so irritating?
3. Search for and install a app designed to handle nuisance calls?
