I received a call from this number and when I answered it they hung up without saying a word. I called the number back and got a recording saying "Thank you for calling back, if you are not interested in receiving future calls regarding future promotions please press one. Please allow 72 hours to be removed." So I pressed one. Usually do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, but have been applying for scholarships lately and didn't know if it could be something to do with one of them. Was VERY rude to not say a word and just hand up.
came from caribou, me - female caller with accent inquiring about my interest of attending college. Said her company name was "Colleges and Universities USA" - google came back with no results on this. I asked her if I were to sign up what services they would be providing - her replies were very indirect and about getting me to another rep that will walk me through it all. Didnt confirm they would finance my education and didnt confirm that she was a school trying to recruit.

Got a call from this number. I answered and some guy on the other line replied saying, "Yeah?" Then he said my first name. It's creepy because I'm using a cell phone. My friends tried calling back, but got a busy line. The same number then called my friend and she answered and the other line was silent.
