I just placed a couple ads on craigs list and I rec'd this a call from this number. The caller didn't leave a message on my answering machine. If you have ads on craigslist the wierdos will call you. I ive in Florida and this number was from carribou maine.
I rec'd a call from this #. It was a recorder stating this is google and they wanted to update business information. When I hit ext. 1 the young man came on the phone and I asked if they are just updating business info. or are they trying to sell ad on google. He stated both. They want to update business information and see if we wanted to be listed on the first page of google. I told him we do not like to do business over the phone but I will be glad to get information and pricing from him and call him back. He HUNG up right away. Everyone needs to be aware of giving any personal or business information out over the phone when you get any phone sales solicitations. I really think this is a bogus caller trying to get information from others and businesses. BE CAREFUL !!!! Because if this guy was on the up to up he would have never hung up on me.
I'm going to report to the Feds. It's a sales call for alarm system 'for homeowners only'. I'm not a homeowner. And they're costing me money when they call my cell. Sick of these filthy scammers.
