I read on another site that it is a scam to try and get personal information after recieving two calls. They just called me a third time and when I answered it was an asian sounding woman and I asked her to stop calling me because I looked up the number and I know it's a scam. That said, she hung up on me. So if they call you again tell them you know it's a scam and stop calling.
THEY, HE, SHE, IT CALLED MY CELL OVER AND OVER AND THE CALL LOG IS 8 CALLS SINCE TUESDAY INCLUDING TODAY. I answered twice, with them hanging up on me and the 2nd time a male with a hispanic accent asked for me by my 1st name and when I asked who is calling, the punk hung up on me. I have called back 3 times and got their "if you don't want to receive any more of our product offers and wish to be removed from our call list press 1. I have pressed 1 three times now and each time have got this recording which does not go any further with instructions such as to speak with a represntative. It just says thanjks you for calling back and the instruction to press 1 to be removed and wait 72 hours and then hangs up. This is obviously some phone phishing scam but the question is how are we going to get to the bottom of this? Is there a common denominator between us all I wonder especially after the Playstation fiasco we experienced recently.
Female with Hispanic accent called a few minutes ago-this makes 9 calls. She was mumbly and I asked her to speak louder and clearer and state what she wanted. This time asked for Danny-not my name and then just hung up. A little research showed me this number is from Verizon in Maine.
