Answered the ring....loud, persistent guy stating calling from 'something,something Republican Party' , looking for a donation. Did not want to hear 'no' for an answer. Since the call comes in from Caribou , Maine , I doubt it has much to do with any political party whatsoever.... Googling the number confirms it is 'iffy' at best. Have blocked the number.
