Received a call from this number that I didnt answer (because I didnt get to the phone in time),so I called the number back, a very resonable man (not arrogant or acting like he was hiding anything at all) answered and said that nobody from that number had called me. I thought it was quite strange, but hung up and went about my day, about an hour later I got another call from the same number, this time I answered it and it was an automated message about helping reduce my credit card interest rates. The odd thing about all of this is that (in my area) the "542" prefix is a Us Cellular/Cell phone number...Us Cellular is the only company (I believe) in this area that uses that prefix...it cant be put onto a landline.
