They do not call back. I ask them things like, "How is the weather in Augusta, Maine today?" or "Hey, you have AT&T as a phone carrier. How do you like their services?" If I can find this on the internet, others can. I will report them. Everyone should. Do not ever believe it if someone calls asking for money, payments, or saying you won something. Hang up and report them. They are scammers. I never give any personal information to anyone, not even my own mortgage company, over the phone, especially if they call me. How do I know it is really them? Anyone can get a phone number from any phone company and anyone can choose any username or phone listing name to attach to them or the caller ID. Modern technology. Is it really great, or is it going to hurt us all? These people call and do not leave a message on the answering machine. They assume we will answer it since a number comes up. Nope. It says Blocked name on the caller ID. I do not talk to anyone unless I know them and do business with them on a normal basis. Still, I will NEVER give them any personal information, not even my name or anyone else who lives here. And if you have a dog, do not say your dog's name on the phone. One never knows who these people really are or what they may try next. Be very careful.
