I had a quick chat with a pleasant, helpful young lady who confirmed that my (TPS registered) number was in their system and agreed to remove it. Hopefully, this will cause calls from the Indian subsidiary/subcontractor to cease within at most 14 days.

Indian lady - couldn't understand her very well - "trying to find out if you eligible for a a refund" - hung up as it's bound to be a scam
