We moved to North Carolina about a month ago. We asked for an unpublished and unlisted number. Calls from this number have been coming in for four weeks now; virtually since the first day the number was hooked up. Caller ID says Unknown Name. Whoever it is called at 11:43am and 12:01pm today. I have answered the phone on twice from this number. Each time I answered the line was open, there was no fax tone, but yet the person on the other end wouldn't say anything. My husband also tried talking to them when they called back less than 15 minutes later. Whoever it is didn't want to talk to him either. Why bother calling if you aren't going to say anything when the call is answered? There are some strange people running around.
Repeated calls beginning at about 11:30 a.m.-- 4 in all. Answered last 3; no one on the line. Name line says Unknown name. Make that 5 calls-- they're calling again.
