I got a call from them at 1:30 am, Spanish chick speaking, didn't understand nothin and we were drunk told her "Me no parlos Espagnol" or something not spanish at all. I'm from Montreal and I'm with Telus. A few of my friends got the same call. A bunch of people from Roger's got a similar call but a diffrent number. Called back says I got a wrong number. Got a call today from that number...didn't bother to answer...any number I don't know is usually a scam...especially one from Maine when I live in Canada!
I received the call yesterday, at 4:48 pm. They did mention something about Telus, which is my provider, but the speech was in spanish and I don't speak it nor understand it. Hanged the call right away, as this type of scam is quite popular these days.
Actually it is not just Northern people getting this scam. I am getting calls from this number all the way down here in Texas. Didn't know it was a Maine area code, to pick up a phone and hear a Spanish message is a little more common down here.
