My phone auto blocked these punks..  then they tried to spoof the number with 1-208 .. rather than just 208.. .. I've seen that trick before .. and have the phone setup to deal with that.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

I call them things that aren't fit to post here.  I make comments about their physical appearance, race, education, lack of their wives' and daughters' chastity, and reminders of what jobs they should be doing.  Nothing that is even remotely politically correct.

These scammers need to die!!!!  I say lets kill them!
Well until we get names and addresses, here is how i deal with them.  I try to keep them on the line as long as possible.  I tell them I have $4,500 in credit card debt.  I give them a fake Visa number..it has to start with the number four.  They may also ask for the last 4 digits of your social security...i just give them 4 random numbers.   Sometimes they ask for the 800 number on the back.  I give them the FBI hotline - 800-225-5324, or the suicide prevention hotline - 800-273-8255.  They put me on hold for a bit and then come back mad or they just hang up.  Since they are going to keep calling and harrasing me, I am just going to play a long and harass them back, and keep them from harassing someone else at least momentarily.  I have had some on line for at least 15 minutes. lol   It is kind of fun and is a stress reliever.

They called me today.  I give them false information just to keep them on the line.  I have a piece of paper with all my fake information on in my wallet so that when they ask me to repeat the card number, I can repeat it accurately. use a fake credit card number and today, when they asked for the 800 number, I gave them the number to the suicide hotline. (800-225-5324).  He called it and came back on the line and told me it was the suicide hotline.  I said, "I know, I was just trying to help you out".  Then he used the 'f' word and hung up.
