Who called from 2082097097

It's a scam, the legit police do not solicit donations over the phone.

I've received this call three times in a week to my land line.  I answered out of curiosity this afternoon (at 5:10).  I said hello, and there was a substantial delay in the man's response before he said hello.  He didn't say anything else, so I said hello again, and he didn't respond right away, so I hung up.  Because it is an Idaho area code, and I live in north Idaho, I was uncertain if the call was a solicitation.  Many cell phone prefixes are so unusual today.  It is in fact a Hayden Lake prefix, but I don't know anyone in Hayden Lake.  I just wonder how it feels when these individuals are called for money several times a week.

getting this call a couple of times a day. I won't answer.

I too have received several calls this week,I do not answer. Just info. Hayden lake is next to Coeur d Alene Id
And approx 50 miles east of Spokane WA.
