Debt is civil, not criminal, so you cannot be arrested, even if you did default on a loan. Please report these jokers to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General.

Collection agency that keeps changing their numbers because they are not following the laws of do not call lists. They leave a message stating that there is an an outstanding check and they will pursue all legal action. do not respond... We had a pay day loan...3 years ago!!!.... It was fully paid back...but they still handed it off to these creeps! Ignore... I reported to secret service and state agencies. They are being pursued for extensive serious criminal charges for illegally bullying previous loan applicants into repaying loans that were already repaid, this number is the 9th group of numbers used to bully unsuspecting people. Do not respond.
I get the same thing and from different #'s.. they don't ask to speak to a certain person they just call and leave a message. next time they call I be calling my lawyer.. why have phone # on do not cal list if people like that going to keep calling..
yeah same $hit here. They don't follow the laws because they're scammers (CRIMINALS) do not give them anything, no money no info! I have a lawyer in the family (FREE!) and all you have to do is ask to be sent a subpoena. YOU WILL NEVER GET ONE! Why? Because it's NOT phucking real!!! REPORT THEM TO FTC like I just did!
This is your friendly neighborhood Stop Sign Steve! Dont be fooled by these Jokers! They are 100% a scam! As another poster said ask for a subpoena, or even easier, ask for a copy of the original loan you signed. If the company cannot produce one, its not legit. They will give you an excuse as to why they cannot produce one, its a load of lies! Do not sit back and be intimidated, be the agressor! ask for paper work! demand they quit calling until they can prove that the debt is legitimate! They wont be able to! It never existed! If you ever even filled out an online form for a payday load, regardless if you got the loan or not, these scammers can buy your info and try to scare you into paying them. SCAM!
