Yes is a scam
As someone stated before, IRS file in writing!

The called me today at 11:11am. It's a scam. IRS suing me. Yeah not by phone or robot they aren't.

Message at 12:12 today.  "IRS filing a lawsuit against me".  IRS will not contact by phone...try again.  People are not as stupid as scammers believe them to be!

Same here. "IRS is suing me." Called the number, a recording said it wasn't in service or something. What [***].

When I heard this message, I couldn't believe this is how the IRS would communicate a lawsuit.  I am glad I looked on line.  I feel sorry for the people like my grandmother who don't use the internet and wouldn't have known.
