I know it is from ISU trying to ask for donations. I answered once in the past thinking maybe it was one of my Idaho friends. But no, it was my alma maeter trying to hit me up with a monetary donation. If they get you to answer, they won't leave you alone. I finally hung up on them, and they keep trying again lately. I never answer to them anymore. I don't care who it is, I'll make donations by choice on my own time. I shouldn't feel pressured by anybody to make monetary donations.
I have answered to this number in the past. It is people trying to get me to make a monetary donation to my former program at this school. When I kept telling them I can't donate at this time they kept trying to bargain me down. I finally just hung up. Just because Idaho State is my alma maeter it doesn't mean I want to be pressured into donating anything. I no longer answer to this number. When I want to make a monetary donation I'll do it voluntarily.
My caller ID also said Idaho State Gov. 282 is the prefix for Idaho State University. I didn't answer, but I'm an alumni, so they may have been calling to ask for money. Probably not a scam but may be asking for donations.
received a call from 208-282-0211 from Pocatello, ID. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. They didn't leave a message. Looked up the number which is to the University. Maybe a student calling about the presidential debate or something. Who knows.
Same story. Received the call Sunday night. What government agency would call on Sunday night? I'm an alumni from ISU as well. So, it might be a fund raising call.
